2010 KICK-OFF
We launched into the New Year on January 2 with one of our favorite West Coast bands, TERESA JAMES & THE RHYTHM TRAMPS, and were so pleased to have a FULL HOUSE of enthusiastic fans turn out for the occasion!! We wish Teresa and her band "Bon Voyage" on their Delbert McClinton Blues Cruise this month!

COMEDY SHOWS @ PAPA MOJO’S
Our "Tickle me Thursday" comedy features have been met with such enthusiasm and we're pleased to be collaborating with Bryson Entertainment to provide national circuit talent on the FIRST THURSDAY of each month! These comedians are loving our venue (intimate & close to their audience) and we had a great audience on Jan 7th for DS Sanders – thanks to all of you for turning out for QUALITY LIVE COMEDY.

MARDI GRAS COMING SOON!
We are approaching our 2nd Anniversary AND Mardi Gras next month, so mark your calendars, call your friends and let’s celebrate! Our festivities start on SATURDAY, FEB. 13th with our Mardi Gras Anniversary Party featuring none other than Mel Melton & the Wicked Mojos. Then on FAT TUESDAY, FEB. 16th, we will pull out the stops with an expanded venue for the occasion, some special music, a Bayou Buffet, and lots of Mardi Gras mania. SHIRLEY JACKSON – Jan. 9 - $8 cover
Traveling from Nova Scotia to the Carolinas, the Queen of Jump-Blues is coming to Papa Mojo's THIS SATURDAY NITE! Back home, Jackson fronts the seven-piece jump/blues/swing band, Shirley Jackson and Her Good Rockin' Daddys - their music harking back to the days when the horn was king of rock and blues. This award–winning sax-player will be performing with band-mate, Dave Harrison, and some Carolina bluesmen you won’t be able to resist: Mike & Phil Mazarick, JP MItchell, and Scott Sawyer!

WEDNESDAY – OPEN-MIC NITE
If you haven’t been down for Open Mic Nite at Papa Mojo's, you need to come on down to enjoy the atmosphere. Host, BRETT CHAMBERS, and his Usual Suspects do a fine job of setting the tone for a great variety-filled show. Music starts at 8:00pm.
We’re pleased so many of you joined us for our New Year's Eve Celebration – it was a fabulous evening and we thank EVERYONE for enjoying the occasion with our Krewe at Papa Mojo’s Roadhouse! May the year 2010 treat us all well!!

As we approach our 2nd Anniversary, we want to thank you ALL for appreciating what we have cookin’ in our Roadhouse and for letting others know that we have something unique going on here in South Durham!
