We provide an intimate atmosphere where our customers enjoy being up close and personal to the band for an evening’s experience that they can’t get in other large venues. Club capacity: 80 seated - 100 maximum. Full PA and sound engineer provided. We book original bands, not cover bands, as a rule. Artists should be touring at a regional or national level (or have the level of talent and professionalism to do so). If you are interested in playing at our Roadhouse, send us a description of your band with links to your EPK, website or MySpace site via Email. (press kits & CDs are also accepted, but not as easy to respond to.) We book about 2-3 months in advance.
1. Please include the following info in your email’s subject line: Booking - Bandname (ex: SUBJECT: booking - the Beatles).
2. You can add details as desired in your e-mail, but make sure that the link to pertinent info is at the top.
3. Please be patient - but not too patient, especially if you are trying to fill out a tour.
4. If you do not hear back from your e-mail after one month, the e-mail has probably been backlogged in heavy workflow. You’re welcomed to send another at that point. If you do not hear back from your second email, it is most likely that your music does not mesh with our programming.
5. Once a gig is booked, it’s in your best interest to compliment our promotions by promoting the heck out of it too!! We also need 3 posters and 2-3 sentences that describe your band/your sound in a way that will entice the reader to come hear you.
**If you don’t currently have a regional track record or fan-base here in the Triangle, it may affect your ability to have a successful gig @ PMR.

Here at Papa Mojo’s, our mainstay in music is Blues: straight blues, rockin’ blues, jump blues, acoustic traditional blues, swing blues and stompin swamp blues. We also like to mix in Zydeco, Honky Tonk, R&B, and original Rock & Roll and a little Jazz.
